Citrix installation in SoHo

Citrix on RHEL or Fedora

• Download compat-openmotif-2.2.3 for Fedora 8 from tigro. (also note the original path ftp://ftp.msiu.ru/pub/fedora/tigro/9/i386/ or openmotif-2.3 locations)
• Download Citrix client ICAClient-10.6-1.i386.rpm from main download site or from mirror
• Install RPMs
• Run wfcmgr

Citrix on Ubuntu

Installation of Citrix ICA client in Ubuntu Hardy:

• Install requirements:

aptitude install libxaw6 libmotif3

• Download Citrix client icaclient_10.6-2_i386.deb from mirror or download rpm from Citrix download site and convert to deb.
• Install the DEB package:

dpkg -i icaclient_10.6-2_i386.deb

• Setup external links:

ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/npica.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/npica.so /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.1/plugins/
ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr /usr/bin/
ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr.bin /usr/bin/
ln -s /usr/lib/ICAClient/wfica /usr/bin/

• Run wfcmgr once and follow onscreen instructions

/usr/lib/ICAClient/wfcmgr
