The audio module
allows users with proper permissions to upload audio files into drupal. Each audio item is created as its own individual audio node. Requires getid3 module and getID3 library. Attacher requires CCK (contents). Attaching audio to non-audio nodes does not work. - How-to for audio module
-
file field + SWF tools + upload progress (requires CCK and MIME detect) - MP3 player module
- Dash media player
The uploadprogress package requires PHP 5.2 but CentOS 5.2 has only 5.1.6. The 5.2 RPMS are available from testing repo (see mail), remi repository, jason litka repo (linked from this drupal story), and in references from this thread.
