1. PSI in Windows

Install PSI (psi-0.14-win-setup.exe). Open it in a login session and set up as follows:

Then logout and copy settings to the default account as described here.

2. PSI in Ubuntu

Packages: psi, psi-translations, qca-tls, libqca2-plugin-ossl (for SSL)

Problem:Message from PSI

Cannot find information about your account. You probably did not publish it.

Open General / Options / Advanced andset Automatically get vCard when becoming online to false.

Use modified PSI package:

    • Port: 5222
    • Encrypt connection: Always
    • Ignore SSL warnings: yes
    • Allow plintext authentication: Over encrypted connection
  • Misc
    • Use hostname as resource: no
    • Resource: chat
    • Priority: 5
    • Data Transfer Proxy: none
  • Program options:
    • Hide roaster window on startup: yes
    • Data transfer port: 0
  • Advanced options:
    • Automatically get vCard when becoming online: no

Note: this works only with A-crypt passwords in CommuniGate.

Also add psi to the list of default session programs:open System / Preferences / Session', click Add, Command:

/usr/bin/psi.

3. PSI in CentOS
