3. S3FS installation on CentOS 5
S3FS is a FUSE-based file system backed by Amazon S3. It allows to mount a bucket as a local file system read/write and store files/folders natively and transparently.
I maintain a CentOS 5 RPM package of this project and keep slightly modified sources in a forked repository.
Recently the project developers resolved an issue resulting from a FUSE bug and require you to install FUSE 2.8.4+. Since latest CentOS 5.5 has only fuse 1.7.x, I created a custom fuse 1.8.5 package.
