- since fedora by default uses network manager, configure your dhcp server (eg, adsl router) to provide fedora box with IP address
- download Fedora-10-i386-DVD.torrent from download page
- burn dvd
- when dvd boots, press escape and choose in the kernel command line

- install fedora normally
- after reboot, press TAB and add "3" on the kernel line
- respond to the text mode first boot questions
- log in as root in text login prompt
- update the system
yum update
- configure rpmforge repositories
